Whilst a tongue in cheek play on the General Election, voting is important.
The 2024 United Kingdom General Election is being held on Thursday, 4 July 2024. This election will determine the composition of the House of Commons, thereby deciding the government of the United Kingdom. Notable constituency boundary changes have occurred since the 2010 general election. This will also be the first UK general election requiring voter identification for in-person voting in Great Britain. Additionally, it is the first general election following Brexit, which occurred on 31 January 2020, and the first to be held under the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022.
Please exercise your right to vote—previous generations have fought hard to secure this privilege for you.
